How it Works

  • Choosing a Backup Type

Your environment is assessed based on the type of data your create, edit and utilize on a day-to-day basis. Once an agreed solution and size is selected for your environment, the selected hardware and components are purchased for your business.

  • Backup Failure

Depending on the malfunction and service package you've selected. Typically a notification e-mail with instructions is sent to the customer once a malfunction happens at the backup level. Once the instructions are followed the customer is then instructed to contact us for further actions. At this point, we will assist with the rebuild while an RMA process is setup for a failing drive. Mostly, the customer is 95% hands off.

  • Remote Support

Not only will we assist with a backup failure, but if in the event you sustain a system malfunction, we will provide remote support to either start a recovery of the system that malfunctioned or setup a new system while the old one is being repaired so that you can continue operations. Best part of it all is, all your old data is available to the new system while the broken system is being repaired. Minimal loss, minimal down time!

  • Additional Support

Need additional coverage? Not a problem! We can work with your company to setup replacement systems, have disk images pushed and other backup solutions that can help you save time and minimize revenue loss to your business.

  • 24/7 System Monitoring

24/7 x 365 Monitoring assures that your systems, hard drives and data are protected! Should a disk fail you will be alerted with instructions and we will take care of the rest. On top of hardware monitoring we also monitor system and software versions and set schedules for remote / onsite backups as well as upgrades so you can focus on your business.

  • Managed Vs. Unmanaged

Unmanaged services are services provided to your organization that your environment is responsible for maintaining, repairing and or upgrading. Managed services are provided by Network Defense Solutions, Inc. that cover repair*, maintenance* and upgrades*.
